Social Media, Marketing and Lead Generation Genie

Part-Time, Flexible Hours, London/Brighton


We are a well-funded start-up bringing a new product to the document management space with a mission to disrupt the way we apply for loans, mortgages and other financial products.


We’ve got great traction and lots of support and we’re launching our commercial product on April 1st.


We’re now hiring for someone to own and deliver our social media and lead generation effort to help us build our public profile and our pipeline to sales success. Among the things we’d like you to do are:

  • Keep our Buffer feed fully fed so we’re always saying something relevant

  • Build our profile on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter as one unified brand

  • Write copy and share with relevant trade press and industry bodies

  • Build interest in our customer base to generate conversation and incoming enquiries

  • Design, build and execute campaigns using cloud based technologies including Insightly, Mail Chimp etc

  • Maintain customer records in our CRM to keep us ahead of the game

  • Manage our SEO and webpage to make sure we’re getting as much leverage and coverage as possible


The right person for us will be a combination of lots of qualities, experience and qualifications but the most important thing is the ability to embrace the fluid nature of the tech start-up. Some of the ingredients to our successful candidate may be:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a related role

  • A self-starting approach and the ability to work autonomously for most of the time

  • Complete understanding of all aspects of social media

  • SEO understanding and experience

  • An appreciation and understanding of Google Analytics (or a commitment to learn)

  • Experience of online CRM’s and campaign management tools


We have two locations, London and Brighton and we think it’s reasonable to ask you to co-work with us at least twice a week, although the office is available all the time if you’d rather ‘come to work’.  This role is part-time (which could grow), but we’re pretty flexible when it comes to working hours.
